First Nation Group is proud to introduce August’s Employee Spotlight, Chanta Quillen! Chanta plays a key role on the First Nation Group team as the VA On-Site Representative. On a day off, you will most likely find Chanta playing board or card games with friends and family or riding her bike through town!
Those that know Chanta would describe her as loyal and dedicated. As an Air Force Veteran herself, Chanta is committed to ensuring the Veterans she interacts with each day are receiving the support they deserve.

Do you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart? Who and why?
Most dear to my heart is helping hospitalized Veterans. Seeing them throughout the Indianapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC) on a regular basis is sometimes a very difficult thing to experience. Many are very lonely and without close family to assist them. The Helping Heroes of America organization has provided much needed assistance to Veterans at the Indianapolis VAMC as well as many other VAs.
What do you love most about First Nation Group?
The true, caring nature of everyone. Also, the commitment to Veterans.
What is your biggest takeaway from your time at First Nation Group?
Incredible! First Nation Group is a family and took me in as part of their own very quickly. I am proud to be part of such a caring and respectful team.
What are three words you would use to describe First Nation Group?
