Employee Spotlight: Jessica Rizzo
This September, we’re proud to shine our Employee Spotlight on Jessica Rizzo, a valued Patient Solutions Coordinator at First Nation Group. In her role, Jessica plays a vital part in supporting our nation’s Veterans, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and resources they deserve.
Beyond her dedication at work, Jessica embraces life with an adventurous spirit. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, exploring hidden waterfalls, and unwinding at the beach. When she’s not outdoors, she loves traveling, attending concerts, reading, tackling puzzles, and spending quality time with her family. Her passion for adventure and strong family values mirror the energy and heart she brings to her work each day.

We strive to inspire excellence and teamwork. Tell us about a time that you felt inspired at First Nation Group.
Going to the USWRA National Championships. This was the first event that I attended with First Nation Group and it was more than inspiring. I remember taking a moment to stop and watch everyone for what seemed like forever. The amount of drive and determination the athletes had was amazing. This event made me want to attend EVERY single one we volunteer for!
What is a quote or affirmation you live by?
Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
Do you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart? Who and why?
Helpful Hands and Hearts is an organization I volunteered with on Veterans Day. They build ramps for disabled Veterans and others in the community. During my first experience with them, I instantly fell in love with their passion for what they do. Since then, I’ve returned to help out several more times.
What First Nation Group core value do you align with most? Why?
Learn, grow, and give. There will always be something new to learn. There will always be room to grow. Always look for opportunities to give.
What is a stand out memory from working at First Nation Group?
Attending the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass, CO. I worked closely with coworkers that I had not seen other beyond video calls and get to know them better. Seeing the passion we all have for volunteering and ensuring the Veterans had the best possible time was extremely inspiring.
