First Nation Group is proud to introduce September’s Employee Spotlight, JoAnn Del Proposto! She plays a key role on the First Nation Group team as the Administrative Assistant, working out of our Fort Myers office. On a day off, you will most likely find JoAnn exploring art museums or traveling around the globe, which she has done plenty of! JoAnn’s kindness, passion, and energy are infectious, spreading joy amongst her coworkers and brightening their day. How do you practice self-care?

I like to spend time by myself going for walks or reading.

If ice cream is served, you’d likely pick?

Baskin Robbins baseball nut.

If you were selecting a date night restaurant, it would definitely serve?

Italian food

Do you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart? Who and why?

My favorite charity is the Adrian Dominican Sisters of Michigan. Their team is consistently helping and supporting others without being paid. One of their initiatives is teaching people to read at the Samaritan Center in Detroit, MI, and some of these individuals are Veterans as well.

 Share some places you’ve traveled?

I enjoy traveling. I have done a lot of world traveling, including Europe, Australia, and North Africa.

What advice would you give to a new employee at First Nation Group?

Be ready to be part of the most charitable company you will ever work for!

What is your favorite memory from working at First Nation Group?

Being able to participate in the Honor Flight for Veterans back in October of 2018.

What are 3 words you would use to describe First Nation Group?

Generous, caring, and kind.
