Employee Spotlight: Lillian Ebersole

First Nation Group is proud to introduce our May Employee Spotlight featuring Lillian Ebersole!

As part of National Pet Month and Global Employee Health and Fitness Month, we wanted to share some of our employees’ furry friends and how they stay active each week. For Lillian, it is her cats and her beautiful backyard she works hard to maintain – she is a wife, caregiver, cat mom, avid gardener, and much more. Here’s a sneak peak into the life of Lillian Ebersole!

What do you love most about First Nation Group?

There are so many things that I love about this company that it is hard to say what I love “the most.” I work with a group of amazing people; I have made so many friends working here that I know will be lifelong friends and for that I am grateful. This company is truly one of a kind when it comes to how they treat their employees and how they support so many charities. You just do not find that anymore and I believe that this company makes its employees better people, they lead by example. Since Covid hit we have found so many new ways to keep in touch and reach our employees, the Quarterly Cause Series lunch is my favorite as it gives our employees the chance to learn about some of the charities we support and gives that charity money just for us listening to their story! I mean how amazing is that!

Do you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart? Who and why?

Over the years I have contributed to lots of charities, local Humane Societies, rehabilitation centers that my dad has been in, etc. I would have to say that my favorite has been last year when I donated to the local church that my dad attends. My dad is a very social person so Covid has been exceptionally hard for him, not being able to see his church family on a weekly basis is tough. The donation that I made this last year helped them to get some much-needed equipment so that they could continue to live stream their weekly services. Until now they never knew how many older people were unable to attend church weekly and now, they are reaching people they never have before. Dad’s church family is a huge part of our lives and being able to help them is a blessing to me.

Lillian’s pets: Four cats and a turtle.

Favorite hobbies: Gardening, landscaping, and crafting.

Favorite “go-to” travel locations: For now, we do not travel as my dad needs us, but someday, my husband and I will travel again. We already have a pretty good bucket list going of places we want to see! Our all-time favorite place we have been in the past was Cancun. That was our best vacation!

Favorite First Nation Group memory: First Nation Group’s Day of Service in 2019, Habitat for Humanity build.

Thank you Lillian for being such an advocate and leader at First Nation Group!
