With his retirement right around the corner, First Nation Group is excited to introduce Paul Durako as our July Employee Spotlight!
Paul currently serves as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager on the First Nation Group team. He is an avid music lover and really quite skilled at playing the guitar himself. In his free time, you are likely to catch Paul spending time with family and embracing mother nature through his many outdoorsy hobbies. Paul’s on-going passion for giving shines through in his love for the Oscar Mike Foundation and their commitment to bettering the lives of disabled Veterans.

What is your most memorable trip or vacation?
St. Croix/US Virgin Islands – fantastic getaway! My favorite adventure was when my wife and I rented four-wheeler ATVs and set out across the mountains and beaches of the island. We visited beaches where pirate ships moored centuries ago. My favorite food was the array of fresh seafood on the island. Amazing!
Do you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart? Who and why?
Oscar Mike Foundation, an apparel company that focuses on improving mobility, accessibility, mental health, and well-being of Veterans, would be my favorite. They stand for all that is true for disabled Veterans, and I’ve personally met the President and Founder, Noah Currier – it is an outstanding organization.
The best advice you’d give someone entering the workforce:
Enjoy the journey! Take your time developing your career and moving forward to the next step.
What do you love most about First Nation Group?
They’ve become a family to me over the course of the past four years! I also love and respect the dedication to Veteran philanthropy that this company exhibits daily.
