Stephen Flannery

Steve Flannery joined First Nation Group in 2020 as President of the company’s Pharmaceuticals Division, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the medical-surgical and pharmaceutical distribution industry. With a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, Flannery leads the Division’s strategic expansion into the pharmaceutical market – focused on providing federal customers with competitively priced options, value-added services, and the superior support First Nation Group is known for.

Prior to joining First Nation Group, Flannery spent 22 years with Cardinal Health, where he served as Corporate Vice President of Strategic Accounts. In this role, he developed and executed federal strategies to strengthen and grow key business partnerships within the Government sector.

Flannery earned a degree in Biology from the University of Rochester. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife. Their daughter lives in Ithaca, NY, and works for Cornell University. The family spends as much time as possible together in the Adirondacks, where they enjoy biking, hiking, and paddling. Outside of work, Flannery is an avid reader who also enjoys debating ideas, meeting new people, dancing, camping, dining out, and exploring new places.
