Wendy Tommelleo
Chief Operating Officer
Wendy Tommelleo serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at First Nation Group, bringing more than 25 years of experience in clinical services, sales management, operations, and business development. Her leadership journey includes a decade with a leading national durable medical equipment company and 17 years of dedicated service at First Nation Group, where she has been instrumental in driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.
As COO, Tommelleo leads critical components of the company’s growth strategy, including strengthening strategic Government and industry partnerships, enhancing sales performance, advancing IT infrastructure and digital transformation, and overseeing business development and marketing and communications. She is also deeply committed to cultivating a high-impact, values-driven company culture that fuels team success and community impact.
Reporting directly to CEO Kennedy Nilsson, Tommelleo helps align executive leadership around strategic investments that empower employees and deliver exceptional value to partners and customers – all while championing the company’s #TOGETHERSTRONG™ spirit.
Beyond her operational leadership, Tommelleo serves on the company’s corporate Charitable Giving Advisory Board and leads community giving efforts at the Fort Myers location. Her passion for serving Veterans, active-duty military, and underserved communities remains a cornerstone of her leadership philosophy.
Tommelleo holds a degree in Respiratory Therapy from North Central State College. She resides in Fort Myers, Florida, with her husband and three daughters, and enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and travel.
