American Amnion™ offers a single-layer Dry Human Amniotic Membrane allograft tissue-delivering a thinner minimally-manipulated covering option to support the treatment of wounds.

American Amnion AC and American Amnion are intended for use as a wound covering, or barrier membrane, over acute and/or chronic wounds.

  • Ease of Storage: All American Amnion allografts are stored at a controlled ambient temperature offering ease of selection and timing of application.
  • Ease of Use: Select desired American Amnion AC or American Amnion graft size. All tissue grafts are provided in a sterile pouch for introduction to the sterile field. Tissue can easily be cut if desired and can be applied wet or dry. Tissue will adhere to the wound bed via hydrostatic tension without fixation and can be secured according to the preferred method and covered.
